Hi my name is Sebastian, I'm security researcher/pentester, enthusiast for decentralization, defender of informational privacy and graduated computer science student in the master program IT Security at TU Darmstadt in Germany.
I have been working on different kind of projects like: several web applications, automated RF-Testing, a privacy analysis of Facebook (BSc Thesis), an E2E privacy architecture for IoT (MSc Thesis) and several other software projects with a variety of technologies.
My current passion is privacy, trust and transparency enhancing technologies, especially for Internet of Things and Machine Learning domains, as well as all kind of IT security related topics, especially web security, secure software development and wireless physical layer security.
Professional, I currently work as pentester for ERNW. Prior, I performed for ~2 years penetration tests for Context Information Security and ~2 years privacy technology research and development for AGT International.

After a half year long career break (backpacking in South East Asia), I work now as security analyst with focus on pentesting at ERNW in Heidelberg.
Junior Pentester
Context Information Security
I worked 1 year and 9 month as junior security assurance consultant (pentester) at Context Information Security in Bad Nauheim, Germany. Thereby delivering high-end security services for many of the world's most successful organisations as team member and occasionally as team leader. Services I delivered include the security assessment of webapps, webservices, ext. & int. networks, thickclients (.NET & Java), as well as CIS aligned build & configuration reviews (Windows, *nix & Cisco IOS) and scenario-based attack simulations (tightly scoped and legally compliant red teaming).

I worked 2 years as working student at AGT International R&D in Darmstadt, wrote my master thesis and did research of privacy enhancing technologies in Internet of Things (IoT) applications.

Between my Bachlor and Master, I made a 4,5 month internship as Software Developer at TÜV Rheinland in Taipei, Taiwan. Thereby, I worked with Agilent VEE to automate RF test procedures and wrote a small marketing Android App.

From the beginning of my studies 2010 till end of 2013, I worked in several small Univativ projects as IT Consultant and Web Developer, e.g. for Merck KGa.
